I just need my life to do a complete 180 for the better like tonight. I demand it
I have no motivation to live. I wish someone would just kill me so I don’t have to kill myself and make my sisters sad.
I am so sick of my mother. All of my life I have been the one she vented to (including my grandmother venting to me as well) I literally on this planet have no one to talk to and yet any time I’m down it always goes back to how she’s feeling I’m over hoping that my life will get better at this point there is no point of me trying to get better or live I have no one in my corner to help me with anything even if it’s emotional support I have lost all the hope in my body I am done
I need help
I wish there was a way to move without money. Should have never helped my mom
I just need a way out
why are you even having children when all you want to do is get rid of them legally when they hit 18
i don’t think you can separate this white north american attitude from the idea of ownership and property that’s built into capitalism. seeing your kids as little moochers that you own. thinking that your kids are “taking advantage” of you or pulling one over on you by “slacking off” is just an extension of the notion that work = morality. so “teaching” your kid that “life is unfair” and “you have to work or you’ll have nothing at all” is the right thing to do. yeah life is unfair, do you have to be too? did your kid ask to be born? did your kid sign a contract with you? its so twisted
the funny thing is that from what i’ve seen the more you treat kids this way the more they will treat YOU this way, so if you make everything in the family transactional they will start to approach your relationship transactionally. then these parents will turn around and whine about how their kids just try to hit them up for money and nothing else, no love no care, sorry who raised them to value money above all else? wasn’t me

Palestinians are incredibly diverse. There are Palestinians literally around the world who have been exiled, in every country, who have mixed and crafted new iterations of our culture into something unique to their families and experiences. That is something that is rarely touched on when we think about a Free Palestine. Columbian Palestinians and Chinese Palestinians and Indian Palestinians and Mexican Palestinians, all of this is Palestine. All of these people make up Palestine. When we say “Free Palestine” we mean to make a society in which all these cultures, all this beauty is celebrated, where we look to each other and think “the world in which I live has art and culture I could never have dreamed of, and I’m glad to live in a society where I can experience all this.”
I was talking with a friend of mine the other day and we reminded ourselves that Palestine is alive in so many versions in this world and when Palestine is free, it will make a whole new cultural entity that celebrates all sorts of different people. And when I think about that, I cannot help but feel energized anew with the sheer breadth of knowledge and art we can share with one another.
I’m writing this as a reminder that a Free Palestine will be beautiful beyond our imaginations, and it is possible and real and we will see it be brought forth and celebrated. Liberation shall prevail. Love shall prevail.
